Want to join Indian Air Force then here’s the chance to join the air wing, for IAF Agniveer Vayu online recruitment 2023 will start on 27 July for January 2024 batch. 



The online registration for Agniveer Vayu recruitment 2023 will start on 27 July and the last for applying for a four-year contractual job at the IAF is 17 August 2023.

The online examinations for Agniveer Vayu recruitment 2023 will be held from 13 October onwards for 2024 batch starting from 1 January. 

Online unmarried candidates born between 27 June and 27 December 2006 or upper age limit of 21 years (both male and female) can apply for Agniveer Vayu intake under the Agnipath scheme.

An IAF spokesperson said upon selection too, the candidates will not be allowed to marry during service period of four years and it is inclusive of training including skill, practical as well as formative assessment.

 

The candidates should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 Or equivalent vocational examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

What is Agnipath Or Agniveer Vayu Scheme

Agniveer Vayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under Air Force Act 1950, for a period of FOUR years.

Agniveervayu would form a distinct rank in the Indian Air Force, different from any other existing ranks. The Indian Air Force is not obliged to retain Agniveer vayu beyond the engagement period of four years. 

On completion of four years of service, candidates (25 percent of a batch) will be offered an opportunity for regular service in the Indian Air Force as Airmen based on performance and vacancies. 

Agniveer Vayu will not have any right to be selected for further enrolment into the Indian Air Force. 

Selection of the Agniveer Vayu for further enrolment, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Indian government.

Employability & Training

Agniveervayu enrolled under this entry are liable to be assigned any duty in organizational interest at the discretion of the Indian Air Force.

On being enrolled, Agniveervayu will be imparted military training based on Indian Air Force requirements.

Leave

Grant of leave will be subject to the exigencies of the Indian Air Force. The following leave is applicable for Agniveervayu during their engagement period: –

(a) Annual Leave. 30 days per year.

(b) Sick Leave. Based on medical advice.

Medical and CSD Facilities

For the duration of their engagement period in the Indian Air Force, Agniveer Vayu will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions.

Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits



Agniveer Vayu enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid. 

Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules. 

AGNIVEER VAYU will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, approximately Rs 10 lakh.
