An emotional video of a barber shaving his head in solidarity with his mother, who is battling cancer, is melting hearts online as his friends and colleagues too, join in, much to their surprise.
The video was shared by Guido Magalhaes who is also a Brazilian blogger and who shaved his head for his mother as she was feeling emotional while losing hair after cancer diagnosis.
But much to Guido and his mother’s surprise, his friends and colleagues joined him in shaving their hair, making the moment even more emotional.
The woman can be seen melting tears as all of them shaved their heads to ease her pain of losing hair.
Guido Magalhaes later posted the video on Instagram, captioning it ‘No Words to Describe you, brothers’.

He later posted a photo with their shaved heads and said, ‘A photo with a lot of happiness passing through your feed’.
Many users empathised with the barber for shaving his head and one even commented that his mother too is suffering with cancer.
‘I will do as you did. God willing, our mothers will win,” Adryan Gustavo commented on Guido Magalhaes post.
It is worth noting that cancer treatment as chemotherapy and radiation often destroy hair follicles, causing hair loss.
Sometimes, the hair loss is permanent and one shaves off hairs in advance to avoid any psychological and physical issues during treatment.
