Viral Today: Alex Roca is first man with cerebral palsy to finish marathon race

Spaniard Alex Roca Campillo has become the first person in the world with a 76 percent disability due to cerebral palsy to finish a full marathon race. 

Alex Roca participated in Barcelona and finished the daunting challenge of a marathon run of 42.195 km that he achieved in Zurich Marato Barcelona on 20 March. 

Informing about his historic feat, Alex Roca tweeted, “I HAVE MADE HISTORY!

First person in the WORLD with a 76% disability who has managed to finish a MARATHON: 42, 195 km ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

This has been possible thanks to ALL my team. Thanks to ALL of you who have been cheering, I HAVE NO WORDS…”

The Spaniard is pursue sports as life and work and till date he had completed 70 races (5 km and 10 km distance), five triathlon and 2019 Titan Desert Morocco aquatlon.
