UK hikes vehicles storage, disposal fees by 28%

The UK government on Thursday increased vehicle removal, storage and disposal under road traffic law by 28%. 

The government has made amendments in Removal, Storage and Disposal of Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations and it will come into effect from 6 April 2023.

“The new changes include the process of releasing vehicles where the registered keeper or owner has changed.

And adding an electronic seizure form option alongside the current paper option,” a government spokesperson said.
