Tourist boat capsizes near Lockport Cave Tours in New York

A tourist boat capsized on Monday morning with 36 passengers onboard near Lockport Cave Tours in upstate New York in the United States.
As per Lockport Police Department, the boat capsized around 11.25 am near caves at Erie Canal in Lockport and search and rescue teams are at the spot to help the tourists.
So far, 12 tourists have been rescued by the various agencies teams that include police and fire department personnel among other organizations.
The streets surrounding the area has been closed to allow access to rescue teams to assist in safe evacuation of people affected by the accident.
Further investigations are on as the cause for capsizing of the is unclear at the moment, Lockport Police Department said in a statement.
