Sukhu urges UK based Himachali’s to promote state Tourism

Himachal  Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu urged UK-based Himachali NRIs to promote tourism in the state.

He made these remarks during interaction UK-based British Himachal Society via video conferencing on Sunday evening.

Sukhu urged the migrant Himachalis settled in England to make efforts to encourage investment in tourism and other sectors in the state. 

“The state government was taking innovative initiatives in the field of education, health and information technology,” he added.

The Society’s representatives Avneesh and Ritu apprised the Chief Minister about the various activities being done by the British Himachal Society. 

They informed that the 76th Himachal Day was also celebrated in London on 15th April and they were making concerted efforts to propagate the rich culture of the state.
