Punjab to fill 485 House Doctors, 1445 para-medics posts in Health deptt

The Punjab government will soon fill 485 House Doctors and 1445 para-medics posts in Health and Family Welfare department after the Cabinet gave nod for the creation of these posts.
A Punjab government official said the decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
“The Cabinet cleared the creation of 485 posts of House Doctors in the Health and Family welfare department along with 1445 posts of the paramedics,” the spokesperson added.

The government has given the nod for filling up these posts came as Punjab aims to provide quality health services at their doorsteps.
The move will create more job opportunities for well-qualified doctors as well as paramedical staff.
The spokesperson said the Cabinet also decided to approve annual reports of Water Supply and Sanitation department for the year 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Besides, the state government will also frame new policy to curb the menace of stray cattle in the state and tackle the issue in better way.
