Punjab & Haryana High Court to remain closed from 3 June-1 July for summer holidays

The Punjab & Haryana High Court will remain closed from 3 June to 1 July 2023 on account of summer vacations and no civil cases will be heard during the period.

A Punjab & Haryana High Court official said the HC at Chandigarh will remain ‘closed from 3rd June to 1st July 2023 (both days inclusive) for transacting Civil Business’.

However, the urgent petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and other cases in which
the Vacation Judge is satisfied on account of the urgency, would only be taken up during the period.
