Touted to be a hardcore action film, the movie boasts of a stellar star cast that includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Hasan, Tinnu Anand among others.
The much sought-after director Prasanth Neel, who had hogged the limelight for his KGF movie, had reportedly used the same team for Salaar film.
Salaar opens with hardcore action sequences and it promises to be another gangster drama by Prasanth Neel, which, in fact, has a connection to KGF.
The makers has told media that the movie teaser was released at 5.12 am on Thursday as at that time the ship of Rocky Bhai (played by Yash in KGF) sank in the sea.

Apart from SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali, Prabhas’ recent projects as Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush didn’t perform well on box office.
The South superstar is presently working on film titled, Project K and it is likely to be released in 2024.
