Planning A Beach Holiday: Here’s why you should wear neon yellow/green/orange

New York
Are you planning a beach-side holiday for family and kids, then you should wear neon yellow, green or orange colour swimsuits as per water safety experts.

One might have heard of Fashionistas advising light blue, blue or white colours to show hard-earned body curves.

But as per American Lifeguard Association, these colours aren’t suitable if you want to venture into the vastness of the sea, especially for the kids.

Talking to CNBC Today Show, the Association’s spokesperson Wyatt Werneth said it is very tough to spot blue, light blue or white colours as these blend in the water easily.

Werneth said one should avoid wearing blue swimsuits, especially kids as it will be tough to spot them in the crowd or at sea if anything goes wrong.

He pressed for wearing bright colours and this was further emphasized by a water safety company, Alive Solutions Inc which conducted tests in the pool as well as open water.

The top colours in the study were found to be neon yellow, neon green, neon orange and neon pink as these were easy to spot.

The bottom colours which were hard to spot were white, blue and light blue as per the study conducted by the water safety company.

While a beachside holiday offers relaxation and enjoyment, it is crucial to prioritize safety to prevent accidents and injuries.

By following essential safety tips, being aware of potential risks, and taking appropriate actions in case of an accident, you can ensure a safer and more enjoyable beach vacation.

Remember, proactive safety measures and preparedness are key to mitigating risks and safeguarding the well-being of yourself and your loved ones during your beachside getaway.
