In a freak accident, four shoppers died while 10 others suffered injuries after a hot-water pipe burst in a Moscow shopping mall.
As per reports, the incident took place on Saturday evening in Vremena Goda shopping mall when hot water pipes burst suddenly, resulting in burn injuries to several people.
Emergency services were pressed into action and the injured were rushed to hospital for further medical treatment.
An employee of the shopping mall said that they were told about the accident by a security guard who asked them to immediately evacuate the place.
The number of casualties is reportedly pegged at four and it is likely to rise as several people had suffered severe burn injuries.
However, the cause behind the accident remains unknown.
The cops said there was no ammonia leak at the site of the accident as was being speculated by many.
