A Middle Borough School in Massachusetts reportedly sent a 12-year-old student back home for wearing a shirt that said ‘There are only two genders’.

The student identified as Liam Morrison later confronted the school board after he was told to return home as his shirt was making some students unsafe.

“I was told that the shirt was targeting a protective class and the adults (the students who questioned and asked him to remove the shirt) even called my dad.

But my dad supported my actions,” the boy told the Middle Borough School board whose video has now gone viral on social media.

The boy further contended that it was well within his rights to wear the shirt as he didn’t object to pride flags that were placed in school earlier.

“However, some students supported me and told me that they too want the same t-shirt,” he added.
