Mann lauds Indian Women Jr Hockey Team for winning Asia Cup

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday facilitated the Asia Cup-winning Indian Women Junior Hockey team and said their achievement had made India proud.
It is worth noting that the Indian Women’s junior team defeated South Korea 2-1 to lift the 2023 Asia Cup that was played at Kakimagahara in Japan.
“It is a proud and historic moment for the nation as Women’s Junior Hockey Team has won the Asia Cup Hockey by defeating Korea in a scintillating match.
The entire team has made every countryman proud for this coveted honor,” he said while hoping that the day is not very far when national sport Hockey will regain the glory it had lost.
