Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooters nabbed with arms and ammunition in Punjab

In a major breakthrough, Punjab cops on Monday arrested four shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang with arms and ammunition.

The shooters were allegedly planning to attack rival gang members when they were arrested with six pistols and 26 live cartridges.

The shooters have been identified as Mehfooz alias Vishal Khan, Manjeet Singh alias Guri, Ankit and Goldy, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav informed in a statement.

“After receiving a secret info, Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) sleuths arrested who were planning attack on rival gang members on the directions of Lawrence Bishnoi.

All the arrested accused are history-sheeters facing charges of attempt to murder, carjacking, extortion and under Arms Act,” Yadav added.

The shooters have been under sections 384 and 120-B of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act and further investigations in the matter are on.
