Kevin Bacon lends support to LGBTs on Drag Dance bans, terms it ‘Bad Karma’

Hollywood actor and The Footloose star, Kevin Bacon on Monday extended support to transgender community on Drag Dance bans and termed it as ‘Bad Karma’.

Taking to Twitter, Kevin Bacon said “#DragBans are bad karma. Right now, drag performers and the LGBTQIA+ community need our help. Shop the @SixDegreesofKB campaign supporting the @ACLU Drag Defense Fund or make a gift.”

Kevin Bacon who was joined by wife Kyra Sedgwick, performed Drag Dance to support the cause and shared the video on Twitter.

The video which has now gone viral within four hours of Bacon sharing it and it has garnered over 1.8 million views.

Kevin Bacon has even found support for his effort by netizens with one even commenting that all Shakespearean plays or before that used male actors to play female roles.

“Only vehemently loudspeakered rejection is new,” the user added.
