Indian govt notifies land acquisition for Nimach-Ratlam rail line

New Delhi

The Indian government on Wednesday issued a notification for land acquisition for the Nimach-Ratlam rail line doubling project in Madhya Pradesh.

Western Railway Chief Engineer Rajkumar Wankhede in the notification said the Indian government is satisfied with project submitted doubling project on Nimach-Ratlam for public welfare.

This has led the government to declare its intention for land acquisition falling under 45 villages of Jaora tehsil in Ratlam district.

If any person has any objection to this acquisition of land by the government, he may file objections with Additional Collector & Competent Authority, Ratlam (MP), in writing.

Such persons will be given an opportunity to present their objections that will be either allowed or denied by the Additional Collector.

Any order made by the competent authority, the office of Additional Collector will be considered final, Wankhede added.
