Indian Embassy staff has notified the US government agencies and reportedly, local police along with FBI is investigating the case to nab the culprits.
The incident reportedly took place after a protest by Khalistan supporters against the Indian government for arresting Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal.
The protestors also accused the Indian government to be behind its leader Hardeep Nijjar’s recent killing in Surrey, BC.
Nijjar was allegedly shot dead by unidentified assailants on 18 June and the UK authorities are investigating the case.
Khalistani supporters allegedly raised slogans against the Indian government and targeted it for oppressing minorities in the country.
This is the second such attack by Khalistan sympathizers as the Indian consulate was earlier vandalized by them on 20 March this year.
