Hindus, Muslims carry out joint march after Bihar Sharif Ram Navami violence

Hindus and Muslims on Tuesday carried out Sadbhavna march after Bihar Sharif Ram Navami violence few days to dissolve tension between two communities.

The march was called on by Bihar Sharif SP Ashok Mishra to ease tensions between two communities and give a message of peace and love to all.

It is worth mentioning here that the violence started on 31 March when Ram Navami procession was through Muslim dominated area in Bihar Sharif city of Nalanda district of Bihar.

The violence continued after that as people from two communities continued to clash with each other intermittently and there were reports of the death of a youngster on 2 April.

The government has deployed three battalions to ensure peace in the area and till date, over 130 people have been arrested for the violence.
