Hard decision, says Bear Grylls as he announces retirement

Modern day adventure enthusiast and known for TV series Man Vs Wild, Bear Grylls on Saturday announced retirement that he termed as hard decision but right time to do it.
Edward Michael Bear Grylls, a British TV presenter and businessman, announced his retirement in a post on Instagram.
Grylls wrote, “This has been a hard decision to make but I feel it is the right time to do it.”
“As the world gets ever more volatile I always knew I wanted to act early – before it is too late. On that note, I have moved with my family to an undisclosed wilderness location. We have been planning this move in confidence for some time. Preparation has always been key.”
“Factors we have had to consider as a family with children have been continual education – a focus on practical skills and sustainability of resources – and scale-able equipment for survival, hunting, medicine, communication and nutrition. This will the last post on this platform.”
“Those close family and friends will receive an email tomorrow that will be our only form of communication. Please keep that email address confidential. Here is to the future,” he added.
