Ghaziabad School Bus accident: 6 dead as bus collides with car on UP’s Delhi-Meerut Expressway

Six persons are feared dead after a school bus collided with an SUV car on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
As per cops, the incident took place on Tuesday morning when a school bus coming from the wrong direction collided with the car.
The car driver was allegedly overtaking other vehicles and didn’t notice the school bus coming from the opposite direction in the wrong lane, resulting in the collision.

The car driver reportedly tried to avoid the crash by turning the vehicle away but anticipating crash, the bus driver too, in order to avert a collision, moved towards the SUV.
Six persons including two children, reportedly traveling in the car, have been killed in the accident and luckily, the children weren’t in the bus at the time of the accident.
Two persons have suffered injuries in the accident and they were rushed to the hospital where their condition is said to be serious but stable.
The car was reportedly on the way to Gurgaon at the time of the incident and there were eight occupants in it at the time incident.
The accused bus driver has been arrested and the police is further investigating the case.
