Four gangsters arrested in NIA, Haryana STF joint raid

Four gangsters were arrested and arms and ammunition was seized from their possession during ongoing crackdown against mafia-terrorist nexus in the country.
A Haryana police official said the raid was conducted at 77 locations including 25 identified by National Investigation Agency and 52 by State’s Special Task Force.
“It is part of crackdown against organized crime syndicates and their nexuses (allegedly with terror groups),” he added.
The arrested gangsters include Banti alias Pradhan of Ashok Pradhan group, Sunil of Pradeep Jmawadi gang, Rahul and Rohit of Vikra alias Papla gang.
The accused were wanted in cases of murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping and extortion.
Several incriminating evidences including arms and ammunition has also been recovered from their possession.
