Five lakh mothers get training on wards’ education in Punjab

Around 5 lakh were given training on education, learning materials and techniques on their children’s education in Punjab under ‘Mother Workshop’ campaign.

Informing about this, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said ‘Mother Workshop’ is being organised for students from pre-primary to second class and their mothers in 12,851 primary schools.

“Under this, mothers were given expounded about the education, learning materials and techniques provided by the teacher to the students of the school.

Around 5 lakh mothers attended ‘Mother Workshop’ in schools and education department is making efforts to increase the involvement of parents whose wards studying in government schools,” he added.

He stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led government is working diligently to provide the top-class education to the students of the government schools across the state.

Under this initiative, the Education Department has orangized ‘Mother Workshop’ at 12851 government primary schools on Saturday.

          Mr Bains said that the school education department is making assiduous efforts to increase the involvement of parents of students studying in government schools.
