Everyday Heroes: RPF Constable saves man from getting trapped under moving train at Howrah

In today’s world of hustle and bustle, an RPF Constable came out as an everyday hero after he saved the life of a passenger from getting trapped under a moving train at Howrah Railway Station.



In a video shared by RPF India, some men are seen boarding a moving training at Howrah Railway station in Kolkata in India’s West Bengal state.

While other passengers boarded the moving train comfortably, one man slipped and was about to be pulled under the moving train. But just when the RPF Constable Chandan Kumar sprung into action and pulled the man from getting trapped under the moving train.

The passengers reportedly didn’t suffer any serious injuries in the accident, courtesy of the timely action of the everyday hero, the RPF constable.

“RPF Constable Chandan Kumar sprung into action and pulled a passenger to safety at Howrah Railway Station.



In the race to catch a train,  don’t forget the importance of your safety, wait for the train to come to a complete stop before boarding or alighting,” RPF India said in a tweet.

It is worth noting that such incidents keep happening at Indian railway stations as passengers sometimes, in a hurry to board train get trapped under moving trains, sometimes suffering grievous injuries.
