Luna Perone, a 13-year-old from Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, got the surprise of her life when she met her hero, Dwayne Johnson ‘The Rock’.
Johnson took her out on a lunch date on Saturday and called himself Perone’s ‘biggest fan’ who he wanted to meet since long.
Introducing Dwayne Johnson in a video on Instagram, Luna Perone said, “Guys, guess who just came in.”
“Hey, we finally meet. So how do you like the surprise,” asked The Rock, to which Perone said, “I had no idea.”
“I took her for lunch, chicken fries, pasta, she had the biggest appetite,” The Rock says and the teenager adds, “Smoothy too.”
“Though she is my fan, I am truly her biggest fan who I wanted to meet since long,” he said while asking her to stay strong as the little girl has relapsed.
Posting the video of her meeting with her hero, Luna Perone said, “Coolest thing EVER happened yesterday! I got to meet my hero, THE ROCK! It was the best day!!!
My family and I had lunch at the Bel Air Hotel and DJ served me my meal. He came out from the kitchen and surprised me.
I was shocked and so excited. It was so amazing to meet him after so many years of watching his movies and looking up to him!”

Perone was detected with Ewings Sarcoma (rare bone cancer) in January 2021 after which she turned her battle against cancer into a campaign.
She is now an Instagram celebrity with over 1.84k followers and had become an inspiration for children and adults alike.
She also appeared with supermodel, Christy Turlington in 2016 in a magazine becoming quite famous at the age of 5 in 2016.
