Dream Fulfilled: Friends of Boston Marathon blasts victim reunite to fulfill his wish

Martin Richard has cherished a dream of running in the Boston Marathon but unfortunately, he died in bomb blasts in the marathon 10 years back.
His classmates, who recently completed legal age to run in the Boston Marathon race, came together to complete the marathon to fulfill Richard’s cherished dream.
And they weren’t alone in completing the marathon in the memory of their childhood friend as they were joined by Richard’s elder brother, neighbours and family.
Richard was just 8 years old and his elementary school classmates, Nolan Cleary, Jack Burke, Ava O’Brien still recall his acts of kindness even at such a tender age.
They fondly recall that it was Richard’s dream run the marathon and they feel lucky that they are getting the chance to live it for their childhood friend.
The Boston marathon is an annual event in Massachusetts in the United States and it is organised on the third Monday of April.
On 15 April, 2013, the marathon was struck by two bomb blasts killings three persons including Martin Richard while 17 others suffered injuries.
The pressure cooker bombs were planted by Dzokhar and Tamerian Tsarnaev in retaliation to US forces actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
