Delhi cops suspect double murder as mother-daughter found dead in Krishnanagar flat

A mother-daughter duo was found dead at their Krishnanagar flat in the national capital, Delhi under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday evening, in what seems to be a double murder case.
Police officials said the incident came to light after neighbours complained about could smell emanating from a flat.
When the cops reached the crime scene and opened the flat, they found the bodies of the 65-year-old woman and her 36-year-old daughter in decomposing condition.

The cops immediately called forensic teams to examine the crime and sent the bodies for postmortem.
As per sources, the cops are suspecting it to be a double murder angle in the case and further investigations in the matter are on.
DCP Shahdra Rohit Meena told the media that prima-facie, it seems to be a case of double murder as the accused has made friendly entry into the house.
