David Warner repeats Ravindra Jadeja’s sword style in Chennai VS Delhi IPL match

The mind games in ongoing IPL 2023 reached a new high during Chennai vs Delhi match when David Warner repeated Ravindra Jadeja’s sword style celebrations on Saturday.

The incident took place in second over of Delhi Capitals match with Chennai Super Kings in Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Delhi captain David Warner was attempting a quick single when Ravindra Jadeja threw ball at the stumps to run him out but he missed the target.

This led to Warner attempting to take a second but Ajinkya Rahane caught the ball and threw back at stumps which again when into Jaddu’s hands.

Jadeja again tried to throw ball at stumps but didn’t as Warner was near stumps which led to a faceoff between the two.

Warner then repeated Jadeja’s sword style celebrations which brought smiles on the faces of the duo and in the crowds on the mind-game.

Coming to clash, Chennai put up a mammoth total of 220 for 3 wickets in stipulated 20 overs with Davon Conway and Rituraj Gaikwad scoring 87 and 79 runs respectively.

In reply, Delhi could only score 146 runs with Warner becoming top scoring with 86 runs.
