Now the license holders can opt for digital vehicle tax reminders rather than postal reminders in DVLA’s new Driver and Vehicles account service.
The new service will allow motorists to easily access their driver and vehicle information in one place.
The launched service is still in public beta mode and DVLA has asked motorists to share feedback to help develop the service.
It will only take five minutes to sign up for the Driver and Vehicles account service which is easy to use and secure, a UK government official said.
After signing in, motorists can view driving license information as endorsements, penalty points, registered vehicles, tax reminders and change contact preferences.
Commenting on the launch, DVLA Chief Executive Julie Lennard said “We are asking motorists to help us test the service.

It’s free, and simple to sign up for an account. This new service is being developed and we will be adding more features.”
Motorists with a UK passport can set up an account today and give their feedback on the new service at https://driver-and-vehicles-account.service.gov.uk/
The service is only available in Great Britain and not in Northern Ireland as DVLA doesn’t hold the records of its residents.
