Land records should be made available in simple Punjabi language so that people don’t face any problem in reading them, said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Chairing a meeting of the Punjab Land Records Society, Mann announced reforms at the tehsil level to ensure that people don’t face any hassles in getting routine administrative work done.
Stressing that reforms are being done to facilitate the people, Mann said all land records should be made available online so that these can be accessed easily by all.
“Land record must be made available in simple Punjabi language so that people do not face any sort of inconvenience in reading it,” he added.
He instructed the officials to digitize all land records and that the record rooms should be kept in the highest quality.
“In order to bring transparency and efficiency in the working of the Revenue department, the Registration works and office jobs will be made faceless,” he further added.
