Ben Marc Diendere is new Canadian Observer in African Union at Addis Ababa

Ben Marc Diendere was on Tuesday appointed as the new Permanent Observer of Canada to the African Union at Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.

Former chair of UNICEF Canada’s Board of Directors, Ben Marc Diendere will replace Stephane Jobin as African Union’s Permanent Observer.

The announcement regarding Diendere’s diplomatic appointment was made by Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly.

Diendere has graduated from HEC Montreal and then completed master’s degrees from French Press Institute’s Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and Ouagadougou University.

He has worked with VIA Rail Canada, Sollio Cooperative Group, Quebecor Media, besides his role as board of director in various sectors.
