Aus PM Anthony Albanese celebrates Holi in Gujarat

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday arrived in India to participate in programs to mark 75 years of engagement with India and celebrated Holi, the festival of colours in Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Albanese said, “Honoured to celebrate Holi in Ahmedabad, India. Holi’s message of renewal through the triumph of good over evil is an enduring reminder for all of us.”

“No matter what your faith is or where you’ve come from—we celebrate and value what unites us,” the Aussie PM added.

Albanese will engage with the Indian government in discussion on various key issues including trade treaty with India. He will also watch the India and Australia Test Match at Ahmedabad along with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
