Aspire to become an artist, then apply for Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme

Aspiring to become an artist, then the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme of the Indian government is just for you.



The Cultural Centre for Resources and Training (CCRT) is offering Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme for 2023-24 for children aged between 10-14 years.

The scheme is aimed at nurturing the talent of outstanding talented children studying in recognized schools or belonging to families practising traditional performing arts.

Under the scheme, the children selected will be provided specialized training in various cultural fields such as traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts and literary arts.

The scheme also lays special emphasis on rare art forms which are in the process of becoming extinct.

The scholarship awarded under the scheme is for two years at a time which is renewable after every two years (subject to progress) till the first university degree stage completion or up to the age of 20 years.

Of the total 650 scholarships, 375 scholarships will be awarded to General categories & others, 125 for Traditional Artist Families, 100 for Tribal Culture/ST 20 Differently Abled (Divyang) and 30 for Creative Writing/Literary Arts.
