AFPI cadets to get Pre-Commission training at Chennai Officers Training Academy

Two cadets of Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (AFPI) for Girls, Mohali have been selected for training at Chennai Officers Training Academy.
Lady Cadets Arshdeep Kaur Sidhu and Palvi Rajput of Mohali AFPI will commence their training at Chennai Officers Training Academy from October 2023 onwards.
Informing about this, Punjab Employment Generation Minister Aman Arora said Mohali has added another feather into its cap after the selection of these cadets.

He congratulated Sidhu and Rajput for selection to Chennai Officers Training Academy and AFPI are transforming girls into women of substance.
“Undoubtedly, the institute is the Pride of Punjab which has been helping the girls to become commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces,” he added.
Arora said NDA Preparatory wing at Mohali AFPI has been started as per the commitment of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann government to aid women in fulfilling their dream of serving the nation.
The wing has commenced training for NDA aspirants from 2 July 2023 onwards.
With Sidhu and Rajput’s selection, so far 28 Lady Cadets of the AFPI have joined various Armed Forces Training Academies.
