Over 300 corrupt officers have been put behind bars in Punjab in one year of AAP rule, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday said while asserting that the government is committed to provide corruption free governance.

In a message to the people, Mann said the government is committed to make efforts to provide transparent and responsive governance to it’s citizens.

Reiterating that as AAP was founded as a result of Anti-Corruption movement, he too was committed to adopt zero tolerance policy against corruption.

”It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that the anti-corruption WhatsApp helpline 95012-00200, launched in 2022 is bearing desired results.

Over 300 corrupt officers have been jailed under Prevention of Corruption Act on the basis of complaints received on WhatsApp helpline.

I have made a promise with the people of Punjab to root out the menace of corruption, for which this campaign has been started,” he added.

“If anyone demands bribe or commission from people in lieu of work and they should record audio or video of the incident, then file complaint on WhatsApp helpline 95012-00200,” Mann added.

He promised strict action against government officials if charges are found to be true and further added every single penny of mullah looted from people will be recovered.
