“We dedicated the renovated Shiva temple today. With the blessings of Mahadev & cooperation of all, Garukhuti is reclaiming its ancient heritage,” he added.
The Shiva Temple Garukhuti on Dhalpur Hill is believed to be constructed in the pre-historic era around 5,000 years back and its complex consists of 20 cave structures.
The cave structures are of archaeological importance as these were once inhabited by tribes of the region and it is believed that Lord Bhima had spent many years in one of these caves.

The caves even have a good number of drawings which, as per experts, are of the Stone Age and these are of archaeological as well as of cultural importance.
